KMR Review.. "Monster From Green Hell"!

Tuesday, August 17, 2010

Dan has given us another good review. This time, it is the film, "The Monster from Green Hell". Say what you will about the Asylum films and Syfy Channel original productions, but this film seems to take the cake. Pay attention though, for Dan still manages to make this fail of a film look interesting with a GINO gag, exagerrated voices, and last but not least, the epic trailer for the next film on Dan's list - "Gamera 3: Incomplete Struggle", the last of the Heisei Gamera trilogy and easily the most awaited.

In other news, Dan and this blog's editor - Evan Brehany AKA G2KMaster - would like to invite you to "100ymm.com".

Dan and I (along with other people like horror hosts Borloff and Rob Dimension along with tokusatsu afficionado and historian proffesional August Ragone) go to this event. It is free on your computer. Every friday, starting at 8:00pm, 100ymm.com shows two public domain monster/sci-fi/horror films. Along with that, a popular horror host is chosen to host the films. Free giveaways are also present so remember your trivia! Both Dan and I owned it two weeks ago's show. If we can, you can! So remember - on Fridays, 8pm, two monster films along with a horror host and prizes. It is a great time and will defiently make the saying "Thank God It's Friday" worth two in the bush.

Just for the record, here are some of the films the site has shown:

1. The Devil Bat

2. Yongary, Monster from the Deep

3. Gappa, The Triphibian Monster

4. Driller Killer (mention this in the chat and see what happens)

5. Attack of the Giant Leeches

6. The Gila Monster

And many, many more. So come on down on Fridays and chat with us at www.100ymm.com!

KMR Modle - S.S.S.S. "Godzilla On Monster Island" Interviews

Thursday, August 5, 2010

In this episode, we do not get a regular review. Instead, Dan was blessed to come down to Atlanta, Georgia where he attented the Plaza Atlanta's "Silver Scream Spook Show" program in which they were showing "Godzilla vs. Gigan", which this time around the print shown was of the Cinema Shares edit, "Godzilla On Monster Island". In the video, Dan (with Angela Wickwire being the camera operator) interviews three people, Evan Brehany (internet pseudonym "G2KMaster"), Shane Morton under the guise of "Proff. Morte", and Tohokingdom member "Goji". It was a really fun time and we hope that you enjoy these interviews. Hopefully this will inspire you the next time a kaiju film or any film of your liking gets shown at the Plaza Atlanta. People from Tokyo and Zimbabwe come to see these shows, so you should see them too! Enjoy!
