Shoutouts

Monday, May 17, 2010
We here at the Kaiju Movie Review would like to mention and give our thanks to Late Night Horror Hotel, who has given us a shoutout on one of their videos. While still a small youtube channel, we expect them to grow with their reviews and such and it should be an interesting venture. Yes, they will do some stuff for us. And Dan is going to do a review for them for the George A. Romero classic, "Day of the Dead". Be watching...

For more information, check out their official website:

In other news, Dan - owner and creator of KMR - has recently appeared in another video. To quote him, "My self and a group from the forum of Thatguywiththeglasses.com did a collab project to go along with some happenings on the sites main page. Didn't have a lot of time to work on the video. But I'm guessing you guys can figure out which part is mine." Go check it out. And watch the whole video. We support Kickassia!

Be watching for more updates and do not forget to look in the post below to see what we have in store for you, here at the Kaiju Movie Review. Arigato!

New Review: "The Great Behemoth"

Friday, May 14, 2010

"Got a great new review for you, just finished it up last night. The Giant Behemoth is a film I watched a lot growing up. Unfortunately is didn't hold up nearly as well as I remembered. None the less, its still an entertaining film. That aside, what the hell is up with the title? "The Giant Behemoth" talk about fucking redundant. Enjoy the video folks."
-Dan

That is pretty much it for this review. Any and all updates with the KMR crew and their activities can be seen through the video. More news to come in time...

KQ Review: "Geharha, The Long and Dark Haired Monster"

Saturday, May 1, 2010

Kaiju Quickie is back as Steph Hughes comments on Kiyotaka Taguchi's newest short, "Geharha, The Long And Dark Haired Monster." Steph keeps enough of the short secret so not to spoil the film. Steph gives it a fair review, one which many may agree with.
.
That being said, we at KMR realize that this film is not yet released here in the states. And though the Japanese DVD and blu-ray has subtitles, not all of you in this poor economy can buy it or want to buy it. With those delimas, there is a site on the internet which has the film. The link below goes to a blog entry at JournalismG2KM. There you will find the link to the film plus a subtitle transcript which one can read if desired. Personaly speaking, "Geharha" is a good kaiju film, the best since GMK and is worth your time. Please watch it sometime. Arigato!
